Noam Faingold’s Burning CIty Orchestra will perform some of their original compositions, bridging gaps between pop and contemporary orchestral composition, incorporating improvised elements. In this performance, the BCO will feature the multi-genre violinist Phillip Granell .
2012 MOBO-nominee Ayanna Witter-Johnson presents a program of her own compositions highlighting her creative process and relationship to dance and movement. Beyond the average gig, Ayanna will be looking to the audience to give some inspiration for a newly created piece for the night using cello, loop pedal and electronics.
